Keeping your honey in the refrigerator preserves it but the cool temperatures will cause your honey to form a semi-solid mass, so this method of storage is not recommended.

It is typically safe as the normal lifespan of honey is suggested to be 3 years after packaging. However, as honey is a staple self preserving food, it technically does not have an expiry date. However do take in note that it has to be properly stored and cared for.
